Probably the best KeePass client for Mac by default, but a long ways to go.
The state of KeePass clients on Mac OS X is, to be honest, dire, especially for KeePass 2.x DB compatible ones. KyPass Companion is probably the best option - in fact, as far as I can tell, if you want KeePassHttp support, its the only option. Which is probably why the developer is charging a rather high price for it, despite it being quite rough around the edges and still having a lot of issues:
1. Handling of databases is just not very good in general. The app does not automatically open the last used database, and the File > Open Recent menu seems to do nothing, as it is never populated when I start the application. No timed auto-lock.
2. The width of the left column for folder/category names is static, which means any longer names will be cut off.
3. Sorting within folders/categories basically just does not work. When you click on a folder, the columns might indicate that its sorted by Title, but its actually not. It will properly sort if you click on the header, but when you switch to another folder and then back, it will be reset again.
4. Right clicking on an entry will not allow you to edit it unless you left click to select it first.
5. The Properties tab in Edit Entry is just blank.
To be honest, this feels like an incomplete piece of software bumped up to version 1.0 just so it could be put on the App Store and be charged for - something that those who have used the beta versions can attest to. There is very little difference between 1.0 and the most recent beta versions, and all of the previously mentioned issues were in there too. That, combined with the rather high price tag, is quite disappointing. Its a usable application, but I very much hope the developer strives for major improvements quickly.
